Reuben Wakely

If you looked up “frothing grom” in the dictionary of surfing, you’d probably find Reuben Wakely. Hailing from the surf-rich stretch of the Central North Coast of Cornwall, Reuben’s got some great waves on his doorstep for before school, after school, and weekend surfs. In 2022 he reached the finals of two of Surfing England’s Junior Series events in the U14 category, and was invited to compete at the day of the champions with Surfing England at The Wave in Bristol.

Although he enjoys competing and has plans to enter more events in 2023, this promising young ripper has free-surfer aspirations and loves nothing more than traveling with his family to epic surf spots in destinations like Morocco or the Maldives in search of perfect waves.
